Entomological containers

This project of eight sculptural pieces consists of a critique of the role of science, the museum and art as tools capable of freezing time. On the contrary, the decontextualization of living beings and their acquired concepts is achieved.

I created some winged beings of paper contextualized with the entomological boxes (since the materials used are similar); but, the form, the colors, the symbolism of the insect and above all the cultural baggage of the spectator, create something new, capable of continuing to provoke the reverie of the flight and the resurrection of the butterfly.
