Roller Derby or Bust is a bumper made for the Syfy TV channel for Women's Day (2020). In this story, a roller derby called Storm is training on its track when it is surprised by a zombie apocalypse. Instead of being scared, she decides to fight and survive using her strength and agility. In this project, I was responsible for designing the character of Storm, for which I was inspired by real roller deby and characters such as Furiosa from "Mad Max: Fury Road" or Gally from "Alita: Battel Angel". The end result is an animated video full of color and action in which a strong feminine role demonstrates her intelligence and fury to survive her enemies.
