This is a serie of illustrations inspired by the "cameras of wonders". Lounges and cabinets full of objects from around the world that gave the owner a high social status, becoming over time in the museums that we visit today with curiosity. In this project I intend to generate curiosity with objects that are inspired by the original items that used to inhabit the cabinets of curiosities, such as butterflies, corals, spices, codices, etc.

With this loose geometric style I try to recreate that aura of unreality that curios cabinets have. At the same time they reinforce the sensation of fragility, since these cameras of wonders frequently changed objects and owners. Becoming a container of knowledge exchange throughout time and space.
